Finger Jointing is a process in which many wooden pieces are joined together to form a single bigger piece of wood. It involves arranging small pieces of solid wood of uniform thickness and width that are chemically treated and seasoned, lengthened by finger joining and joined width wise by edge gluing and applying a suitable pressure in board making press.

Finger Joining is nothing but joining leftover/ short pieces of wood together to form greater length units. The joint is composed of a number of meshing wedges/fingers of wood, then the two adjacent wood pieces are camped together using wood glue other adhesives. It is well accepted worldwide and known to be the most stable method of joining timber.

ITP manufacturers boards with the advanced finger joining process with stabilizers, this makes the boards more stable and compact, and even avoid warping problems. All our customized-finger jointed boards are rigorously tested in extreme conditions of warping.
